Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Javier is an educator with more than 15 years of experience in public education. He has taught across multiple grade levels, served in academic leadership roles, and worked as a university instructor, building a strong foundation in pedagogy and curriculum development.
Javier currently teaches AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature at a college preparatory school in Houston, where he helps students develop advanced language proficiency and critical-thinking skills. He is pursuing doctoral studies in Educational Sciences at the National University of La Plata in Argentina and holds a master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language.
