Originally from Lima, Peru, Giannella is an architect and Spanish instructor with 15 years of teaching experience. She earned her architecture degree from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, where she also served as an assistant instructor in design courses. After moving to the United States, she worked as an architectural designer before studying pedagogy to teach Spanish as a second language.
Giannella has taught learners of different ages and proficiency levels, with the past several years focused primarily on adult students and professionals. Her experience includes in-person, onsite, and virtual instruction. She designs relevant lessons that keep students engaged while developing practical communication skills.
As a learner of English and Italian, Giannella understands the effort required to communicate meaningfully in another language. She enjoys sharing both Spanish and Hispanic culture while guiding students through that process.
