Originally from Lima, Peru, Julio Cesar has more than 19 years of experience in language education. He holds a degree in Education and a TEFL certification, and has taught Spanish and English in Peru and the United States. His career includes work with Excel Language Center, Maximo Nivel in Cusco, and language programs in El Paso and Houston.
Julio has taught learners from many countries in private and small-group settings, both in person and online. His instruction develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing through energetic lessons and practical resources. Years of virtual teaching have also made him skilled at creating an inclusive, effective online learning experience.
Having traveled to 12 countries, Julio brings a broad cultural perspective to his classes and enjoys helping students understand the cultural context behind the language. Outside teaching, he is also an accomplished guitar player.
