Originally from Mexico City, Ruth is a bilingual educator with more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, literacy, and Spanish language instruction. She has taught learners ranging from preschool children to adults, adapting visual tools, creative strategies, and supportive communication to different ages and learning needs.
Ruth has authored textbooks on early literacy and foundational mathematics and developed a visual, personalized method to help children learn multiplication tables. She also mentors fellow educators and continues to create resources that support both academic and emotional development.
Her teaching is grounded in the belief that education can transform lives and that every learner deserves to feel capable, connected, and motivated. In her Spanish classes, she uses that same philosophy to help students strengthen comprehension, communication, and confidence in a welcoming environment.
